Le Manoir Wedding Elegance
A chinoiserie inspired editorial shoot for Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir
Le Manoir invited Pocketful of Dreams to create a series of images to inspire couples getting married at Raymond Blanc’s iconic Michelin starred restaurant and hotel in Oxfordshire. Our Le Manoir wedding ‘couple’ had travelled extensively across the Far East, so we wanted to incorporate influences into their wedding styling without it feeling overly contrived or themed.
Incorporating subtle eastern-inspired details such as Japanese maple leaf in the florals, oriental birdcages, tassels and pagoda style parasols. We also had a bespoke chinoiserie-style illustration created for us that picked out all these key elements. The colour palette featured a variety of delicate tones alongside richer shades: burgundy, wine, mauve, soft pink and peach adding antique gold and a hint of dusky blue reminiscent of the Chinoiserie style pottery, to convey a real mixture of Eastern and Western stylistic elements.
